Over the Easter break Parkwood members put on their garden gloves for a working bee at C&K Parklake Community Kindergarten. Jenny, Jo, Michelle and the rest of the team at the kindy work so hard to provide a beautiful learning environment for the kids, it was our pleasure to tidy up some gardens for them to enjoy. A huge thank you to Bunnings Arundel for the donation of garden beds, soil, sand, flowers, bushtucker trees, seedlings, rope and loads more. The Activity Officer Fiona from Bunnings came and gave us a hand on the day too! Special thanks to Sam O'Connor MP for lending us his utility to collect the goods from Bunnings.
This project was exactly what we do, helping our community. If you would like to be involved or volunteer your time, join us Tuesday night 6pm at The Club at Parkwood Village or contact us for more information ParkwoodRotary@gmail.com
